CTP welcomes a new tenant to CTPark Opole, the major Swedish supplier to vehicle industry – TitanX, who will take-up almost 4,000 sqm. TitanX expects the first deliveries out of the new centre at CTPark Opole will begin in September 2018. CTPark Opole is strategically located between two large agglomerations: Katowice and Wroclaw, with a sufficient population for the new facility. CTPark Opole is CTP’s first industrial park in Poland, and was constructed last year.
The Swedish tier-1 supplier to the commercial vehicle industry will utilise this new warehouse to service the growing aftermarket. TitanX is planning to employ 50 people in the first year, and then an additional 50 in the coming years.
Opole is strategically placed in southwestern Poland, near the many truck manufacturers and suppliers in the heavy vehicle industry, and with direct access to the international highway network. “CTPark Opole is located in the middle of the Special Economic Zone of Opole which provides attractive corporate income-tax related incentives. In combination with the Opole region, the availability of the local workforce and a high level of university graduates make it an obvious go-to location for manufacturers. These are the main reasons why there is such high client interest in the park,” says Lukasz Kutyba, CTP Regional Manager. With additional land available, the park has a planned built-up area of nearly 71,000 sqm.
“We chose CTPark Opole because it fits our requirements perfectly –Opole is close to both customers and suppliers and is a good base for recruiting staff,” says Matt Moore, Head of TitanX Aftermarket Business, TitanXtend.
