Cushman & Wakefield has advised on over 74,300 sqm of office leases in Polish regional cities over the year to date.
This year’s largest transaction in regional cities, Warsaw excluded, on which Cushman & Wakefield acted as the agent was State Street’s leasing of 14,000 sqm in the Alchemia building in Gdańsk.
In terms of the total volume of office space leased by Cushman & Wakefield, Tricity heads the league with approximately 21,000 sqm, followed by Katowice with more than 20,000 sqm transacted and Łódź with 13,700 sqm. Cushman & Wakefield’s Regional Cities Division is currently conducting transactions totalling more than 70,000 sqm.
“We are very pleased with the dynamic growth of both regional markets and our operations outside Warsaw. The regional markets are becoming stable and strong destinations for tenants, developers and investment funds,” said Krzysztof Misiak, Head of Regional Cities, Cushman & Wakefield.
The company continues to invest in its expansion in Polish regional markets. It has already opened four offices outside Warsaw in order to increase its efficiency of operation. Two more offices were recently added to those existing in Tricity and Krakow: in Wrocław (Dubois 41 building) and in Katowice (Altus building).
