Delta Holding, a Serbian real-estate investor, has announced that they will develop a shopping centre worth €60 million in Banja Luka, located in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company confirmed that construction will start at the beginning of next year.
The future development will be the largest investment in the Republika Srpska region of Bosnia and Herzegovina and will create 2,500 job openings.
According to Delta Holding, the shopping centre will have a gross area of 60,000sqm and will house renowned international brand names, as well as entertainment facilities catered to families.
Delta Holding has so far successfully developed two Delta City shopping centres in Serbia and Montenegro, as well as a retail park – Delta Park in the Serbian town Kragujevac. Besides its retail projects the company has completed the development of numerous commercial and residential projects in the region.
Delta Holding has also confirmed that it has obtained financing for four new commercial projects in Serbia, including a shopping centre Delta Planet in Belgrade, but is still in the process of obtaining building permits. The company added that if building permits are not obtained in the near future they will redirect their investments outside Serbia.
The total income of Delta Holding in the first 6 months of 2016 amounted to 27.06 billion RSD (Serbian dinars), which is a 4 percent increase compared to the same period of last year.
