DSV Solutions, an international operator which specializes in providing contract logistics services, has once again decided to expand in Silesia. After negotiations, the company has extended its current contract at Panattoni Park Sosnowiec I and expanded its leased area by another 2,750 sqm. JLL represented DSV Solutions during negotiations.
The DSV Group has been present in Poland for over 25 years. One of the company’s key areas of activity is warehouse logistics, run under the DSV Solutions brand. At Panattoni Park Sosnowiec I, DSV will now occupy a total space of 8,900 sqm.
“Our goal is to fine-tune advanced solutions so as to support the logistics operations of our customers. We are among the top five largest most profitable companies operating in the TSL sector. It obliges us to constantly develop technology and acquire highly complex projects. Therefore we want to strengthen our position in industrialized locations with potential, and Sosnowiec most certainly meets these criteria. At Panattoni Park, we run operations for customers from the automotive, industrial automation, medical and e-commerce sectors. This newly expanded space, dedicated to modern warehouse logistics will be up and running in 2021,” comments Wojciech Cipiur, CEO of DSV Solutions.
The Upper Silesia region is one of the most popular investment regions for both developers and tenants. It is a very active warehouse market in which DSV Solutions has been functioning for many years.
“Panattoni Park Sosnowiec I is well-served by an extensive road and rail infrastructure. The region itself is being rapidly transformed into an industrial and commercial area, and DSV Solutions – as a leading logistics operator in Poland – had to play a part in this process. Our negotiation talks highlighted the need for additional warehouse space and the tenant’s consistent expansion policy as well as the developer’s flexible approach led to smooth finalization of the deal. Located in the eastern part of the Silesian agglomeration, Panattoni Park is a warehouse complex situated in the vicinity of the S1 expressway and is just seven kilometres from Sosnowiec. The logistics centre offers as many as six warehouse halls with a total area of 230,000 sqm.

We also have a large number of long-term tenants for whom Sosnowiec acts as a strategic base for business in this part of the country, and offers the opportunity to develop contract logistics to the markets of both southern Europe as well as Central and Eastern Europe.
