Enea, a Polish electric power company, has extended its lease and expanded its Poznań office by over 1,000 sqm. Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield represented and advised the landlord and investor of the building – Górecka Projekt.
Enea is a leading electric power firm and one of Poland’s largest organizations. Its core business operations include the sale, distribution and generation of electricity. It supplies electric power to households in the North-West of Poland and sells it across the country. Enea has over 2.5 million clients and employs about 15,000 people.
Michał Oliwa, Head of Administration in the Department of Operations Management, Enea S.A., said: “Very favourable lease conditions and our cooperation to date with the building’s owner were the key factors in our decision to extend the lease in the Skalar Office Center. In addition, following our steady growth we took up over 1,000 sqm of additional office space to further streamline our operations.”
The Skalar Office Center is a uniquely designed five-floor Class-A office building providing approximately 15,000 sqm of office space and 466 parking spaces. It offers convenient access to public transport and advanced infrastructure. The building is located in Górecka Street, bordering on Poznań’s historic districts: Wilda, Łazarz and Górczyn. Enea’s head office in Poznań has expanded under the renegotiated lease to 6,330 sqm.
Magdalena Wiśniewska-Karwańska, President of the Management Board of Górecka Projekt Sp. z o.o., said: “We are pleased that Enea has decided to extend its lease and appreciates the high fit-out standard of the Skalar Office Center, which offers good value for money on the local office market.”
Grzegorz Bobrowski, Negotiator, Office Agency, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Enea’s decision to remain in the building is a confirmation of its high attractiveness and shows that the Skalar Office Center can successfully compete with new schemes coming onto the market.”
