MIPIM, the world’s largest international real estate event, is set to welcome significant delegations from Europe’s major cities and regions.
With three months to go, MIPIM 2022 is now expecting to have the same number of exhibitors as the 2019 edition, including a plethora of new international cities and countries looking to showcase their investment opportunities.
In total, more than 90 percent of European cities & regions that exhibited at MIPIM 2019 have already committed to taking stands at the event. These include:
Spain: Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Castilla la Mancha
UK: London, Liverpool, Newcastle, Cardiff, West of England, Dudley, Lancashire and Central South.
The news follows November’s announcement that all the major international brokers have signed up for MIPIM 2022.
The UK is also set to have a strong presence at the 2022 event in March, which will be headlined by the UK Pavilion on La Croisette, where the Department for International Trade (DIT), with the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) and Homes England, will promote the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda and showcase the country’s international offer for investing in local areas to drive growth, create jobs, and deliver new homes and places.
Ronan Vaspart, director of MIPIM, said: “As we recover and look forward from the past two years, this promises to be one of the most important real estate events in recent memory, so it’s fantastic to have over 90 percent of Europe’s major cities signed up for MIPIM 2022. They will be joined by all the major international brokers and many political and industry leaders.” He added: “Our clients have told us they want to see a full return to in-person networking events, so we’re full steam ahead in our planning for March, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to a safe and secure event as we did in Cannes in September.”
MIPIM 2022 will take place on 15-18 March in Cannes, France.
