Redkom Development has completed the expansion of the Ozimska Park retail complex in Opole. As part of the investment, 1,200 sqm of new leasable area (GLA) was added, bringing the total space of the complex to over 18,000 sqm. This makes Ozimska Park the largest retail park in Opole and the surrounding region. The expansion represents another step in the consistent development of the project. Ozimska Park was fully developed and delivered for use by Redkom, with its official opening held in November 2023. In 2024, Redkom finalised the sale of the property, which is now part of Newgate Investment’s portfolio.
The new section has expanded Ozimska Park’s offer with popular brands such as CCC, Worldbox, and Dr Materac, further enhancing the project’s appeal to both tenants and regional customers.
“Completing the expansion of Ozimska Park according to schedule is the result of close cooperation between all teams involved, as well as efficiently managed design and construction processes. The new section has been carefully designed to blend harmoniously with the existing architecture of the retail park, maintaining its cohesive aesthetics and functionality. As a result, we have created a space that not only meets the growing needs of tenants and customers but also strengthens Ozimska Park’s position as one of the most attractive and modern retail destinations in Opole,” says Mateusz Miszczyk, Project Manager at Redkom Development.
The general contractor for the project was Fuste Sp. z o.o., while the architectural design was prepared by MODO Architektura, the studio behind the original architectural concept of the entire complex. Ozimska Park has received international recognition, earning awards in the 2024 European Property Awards in the categories of Retail Architecture Poland and Commercial Renovation / Redevelopment Poland.
“The commercialisation of the new section of Ozimska Gallery proceeded very smoothly, highlighting the growing importance of the property on Opole’s retail map. Among the new tenants are CCC, Worldbox, and Dr Materac. The gallery continues to gain popularity thanks to its excellent location on one of the city’s main arteries, an attractive tenant mix, and proximity to the Agata Meble showroom. Key tenants of the complex include Kaufland, Media Expert, Jula, Sinsay, Pepco, X-treme Fitness, and Woolworth, making Ozimska Gallery one of the most significant retail destinations in the region,” says Robert Dudziński, Head of Asset Management at Newgate Investment.
