Expansion of Morski Park Handlowy – EuropaProperty

Morski Park Handlowy in Gdańsk will expand by 16,500 sqm of retail space. The expansion commenced in October this year. The completion of works and opening is planned for Q4 2018. Savills is the property manager and the leasing agent of the facility.

A completely new modern building will be developed as an integral part of the complex. The general contractor is CFE Polska.

“The location of Morski Park Handlowy and neighbouring buildings is a popular destination on the shopping map of Tricity. The big purchasing power of the inhabitants of this region was one of the main reasons behind the decision to expand the park,” said Marta Mikołajczyk-Pyrć, Head of Retail Property Management at Property and Asset Management Department of Savills.

Current tenants of Morski Park Handlowy include OBI, Carrefour, Media Expert, Jula and McDonald’s. Designer Outlet Gdansk with more than 100 fashion brands, and the only Agata furniture store in Tri-cities complete the complex.

Morski Park Handlowy is located on Przywidzka Street in Gdańsk, in the immediate vicinity of the Tricity ring road. The current GLA is 24,500 sqm. After the expansion it will increase to 41,000 sqm. The centre has a spacious parking lot for 1,700 cars. Savills Retail Agency is the leasing agent of the property. Savills Property and Asset Management Department is a property manager of the facility. It is owned by GRP.
