FCA, an expert in optical telecommunications, has decided to let over 5,300 sqm in a warehouse park on the east of Kraków in Targowisko. AXI IMMO supported the occupier in negotiations and selection of the new location. The transaction enabled the completion of the commercialization process of Panattoni Park Kraków East II.
“A need for continued expansion and building a strong operational back-up near Krakow decided to consolidate our activities from central Poland. Above all, we were looking for a facility close to our headquarters in Niepołomice, offering a higher warehouse and office space standard. After the presentation, the choice of the warehouse in Targowisko turned out to be the closest to our expectations.- A need for continued expansion and building a strong operational back-up near Krakow decided to consolidate our activities from central Poland. The flexibility of the developer itself proved to be also crucial,” said Iwona Pałaszewska, Director of the Procurement and Logistics Department, FCA.
“This is another transaction that indicates that the areas to the east of Kraków are a good direction for developing the local warehouse market. Developers have met customers’ expectations and are locating their investments in the regions that significantly shorten commuting times, including avoiding traffic jams at the entrance or in Kraków itself and still have much-qualified staff. The vast commercialization process indicates that we can expect new projects in this location to find their tenants just as quickly,” commenteded Marta Nowik, Consultant, Industrial & Logistics Agency, AXI IMMO.
“It is a remarkable success to complete the commercialization process within ten months of starting construction. It proves above all the skilful positioning of our investments, based on local characteristics and customers’ needs. At the same time, it should be emphasized that the facility itself is in line with our latest strategy. We take care to ensure energy efficiency for our tenants and apply a number of pro-ecological solutions. In Panattoni Kraków East II, we have used a glass façade, providing the space’s better illumination. We have created a green zone in front of the entrance to the offices, which improves working comfort,” said Filip Noworól, Leasing Manager, Panattoni.
Panattoni Kraków East II offers 18,540 sqm of modern warehouse and office space. The distribution park is next to the A4 motorway at Targowisko junction and near national roads No 94 and No 75, only 25 km from the centre of Kraków and 40 km from the Balice airport. Similarly to other Panattoni investments, the warehouse centre was certified in the BREEAM system and received the “Very Good” rating.
