More than PLN 17 million was paid by an anonymous buyer for 2 apartments in the historical tenement houses at Foksal 13/15. It has been one of the biggest transaction on the luxury property market in Poland made by an individual.
The PLN 17 million-worth transaction concerns two luxury apartments with the total space of 470 sq m, which a private investor has bought in Foksal 13/15, i.e. the two historical tenement houses in downtown Warsaw. It is not the first such a big transaction at Foksal 13/15 – earlier, another buyer bought four apartments for PLN 11.5 million. Details of both transactions are confidential.
“True connoisseurs of beauty appreciate the unique character and architecture of the Foksal 13/15 tenements and are willing to pay a lot for the ability to live in a place which meets their high requirements. An apartment in a historical building, with a prestigious address and luxury finishing, may also be a good capital investment for fine investors,” says Jeroen van der Toolen, Managing Director CEE, Ghelamco. Our project has been highly appreciated by customers from the premium segment, which is confirmed by the fact that half of the apartments have already been sold or booked,” he adds.
Foksal 13/15 is a luxury apartment project which Ghelamco is delivering in the historical centre of Warsaw. Built in the late 19th century, the tenements are being revitalised and will soon regain their former character as fine downtown residences. The project is unique thanks to the wealth of authentic details which survived in the interiors. The staircases are decorated with sculpted overdoors and portals, white marble floors, and hand-forged balustrades. Equal wealth of details can be found in the apartments, whose interiors are nothing short of aristocratic residences. On their walls and ceilings one can find nearly a hundred stucco patterns, whereas wooden floors display nearly twenty motifs.
The investor invited Eric Kuster, the renowned Dutch architect from Metropolitan Luxury, to arrange the interiors. His designs perfectly combine the classic and the modern. Eric Kuster’s portfolio includes prestigious projects for famous singers and athletes.
The Foksal 13/15 project will provide its future tenants with numerous comfortable amenities, including a SPA zone with a sauna and jacuzzi, fitness room, and spacious terraces overlooking the centre of Warsaw. A yet unseen solution will be guest rooms, where the tenants will be able to put up their guests or business partners for the night in comfortable conditions. Under the building, a garage with modern parking platforms for 60 cars has been built. The project’s fine character will be complemented by concierge services provided by Quintessentially Lifestyle, a global leader in this segment.
The tenement houses at Foksal 13/15 will include in total 55 luxury apartments with space from 47 to 260 sq m. The project is planned to be completed in the second half of 2019.
