Fortress Logistics Real Estate has finalised the acquisition of a strategically located asset in Wrocław, Poland. This milestone deal underlines Fortress’ ambition to strengthen its position in the regional logistics and industrial real estate market and deliver long-term value to its shareholders.
The newly acquired facility comprises nearly 24 hectares of land with modern buildings providing approximately 76,000 sqm of GLA. The property is fully leased to Aira, a company specialising in smart home and energy solutions. Backed by significant financial resources and a strong international reputation, Aira is regarded as a reliable long-term partner.
The acquisition brings Fortress a long-term income stream supported by a lease agreement with a blue-chip tenant. At the same time, the site offers potential for further development and modernisation, ensuring flexibility to meet future market demands. Importantly, the investment is fully aligned with Fortress’ CEE strategy, which emphasises ESG principles, European taxonomy compliance, and the creation of sustainable building spaces that reduce CO₂ emissions. This transaction represents another decisive step in growing Fortress’ portfolio and achieving its ambitious development plans across the region.
“At Fortress, we focus on smart investments that not only generate value for our shareholders but also support sustainable development. Our latest transaction in Wrocław represents another step in realising this vision – combining strong fundamentals, growth potential, and a trusted tenant with innovative energy solutions,” said Bartosz Klimek, Leasing & Asset Director at Fortress.
“When building out Aira’s manufacturing capabilities, we were looking for a strong real estate partner to work with. In Fortress, we found a highly professional team that was able to advise us on various aspects of the transaction and further development of the site. We look forward to our continued collaboration with Fortress”, said Tomasz Wcislo, Aira Chief Operations Officer
Wrocław is one of the fastest-growing industrial and logistics hubs in Poland, offering robust infrastructure, a highly skilled workforce, and an exceptional location near the A8 highway with close access to Germany and the Czech Republic, making it a perfect gateway for international trade and a strategic base for companies looking to serve both domestic and cross-border markets.
Deloitte acted as the legal advisor to Fortress in the acquisition process.
