Galeria Mazovia receives BREEAM certification – EuropaProperty

Galeria Mazovia, the largest shopping centre in Płock, has been granted the BREEAM In – Use (Part II) certificate, obtaining a “Very Good” score overall.

Under Part II of the certification process, the building was verified within nine categories, including: energy, transport, water, waste management, ecology and pollution. Galeria Mazovia received a “very good” score regarding the energy spending effectiveness, location, transport, waste management and environment. This certification places Galeria Mazovia, owned by the CBRE European Shopping Centre Fund CV, among the best managed buildings in the world.

“BREEAM verifies and certifies the buildings considering their attitude towards environmental best practices and the comfort of the building users. These considerations have always been the highest priority for both the owner and manager of Galeria Mazovia. Naturally, this is one of the many steps we take in constant search for and implementation of the sustainable solutions,” commented Krzysztof Kopytowski, Shopping Centre Manager of Galeria Mazovia.

Galeria Mazovia is the largest shopping centre in Płock presenting a unique offering within the local retail market. Within the tenant mix there are, among others: Zara, Stradivarius, H&M, Bershka, Media Markt and Go Sport. Apart from over 100 stores and service points, the customers may take advantage of a wide range of quality restaurants and cafes, including the only food court zone existing in Płock.
