The “Pomagam Bardziej” (trans. “Helping More”) campaign accompanying Poland Business Run has begun. All those willing to help beneficiaries of, among others, the Jasiek Mela Foundation, and who for various reasons cannot participate in the charity run have an opportunity to contribute by helping teams collect funds. The monies will be spent on purchase of artificial limbs, on rehabilitation and psychological support for amputees.
Each team registered in Poland Business Run has the task to collect funds and encourage their colleagues, families and friends to make donations to the benefit of amputees. Anyone who is not indifferent to the fate of beneficiaries of the Jasiek Mela Foundation and of other people in need can take part in the Helping More campaign. All you need to do is go to www.polandbusinessrun.pl, select a city and a team through which you want to make your donation.
Representation which will collect the biggest amount will receive from BOHOBOCO the Leader’s Yellow T-Shirt designed for this special occasion
Designers’ duo – Kamil Owczarek and Gilbert Lach are much-appreciated artists on the Polish fashion market. –When we were invited to participate in the Poland Business Run project we didn’t hesitate for a single second. This brilliant initiative integrates people and allows them to help by doing what they like best – by running. The Helping More action has been set up for those runners which want to do even more. The teams which decide to join it and will collect in a given month the largest amount of money will receive Leader’s Yellow T-Shirt designed by us. It will prove exceptional commitment in helping those in need. We are extremely proud to be a part of this project. Fingers crossed for all participants of Poland Business Run! – the designers stated. The idea of Leader’s Yellow T-Shirt originates from the Tour de France bicycle race where the general classification winner gets such a prestigious distinction. Yet, in Poland Business Run everyone is a winner because thanks to the competing teams next amputees will be able to get back on their feet.
Poland Business Run is the biggest charity business relay run which helps amputees make their dreams come true. From the first edition of the run it was possible to change lives of over 60 people who now support other people in need. The run was initiated in 2011 in Krakow by UBS and Radisson Blu Hotel Kraków, however already its first edition was supported by Luxoft and Municipality of Krakow and Sports Infrastructure Management Board. From then on the initiative has become a part and parcel of the sports events calendar in partnering cities. The purpose of this initiative is not only to support people with mobility impairment, but also to promote active life style and integration of local community with business. This year, Poland Business Run is celebrating its 5th birthday and on this occasion it is passing the baton also to local organizations through which funds collected in the run will reach next people in need.
