Globalworth, the largest office investor in Central and Eastern Europe, has signed a lease agreement with Starbucks to open a coffee shop in Tower 1 office building from Globalworth Campus in Bucharest.
“When developing a project, in addition to workspaces adapted to our tenants’ personalities, we also focus on offering them a range of facilities in the immediate vicinity of the office, in order to increase their comfort. That’s why we are adding today to our retail offer in Globalworth Campus a new Starbucks coffee shop, one of the most beloved brands Romania, which will be inaugurated by the end of this year”, stated Ema Iftimie, Head of Leasing at Globalworth.
“We are happy that, together with Globalworth, we are able to bring the Starbucks experience to the tenants in the office complex named after the most important real estate investment company. We are looking forward to welcoming our customers in a new and unique space, boasting a ‘natural’ design, Arabic coffee of the best quality, prepared by experienced, passionate baristas. We are sure that Starbucks will soon become a meeting spot for entrepreneurs and business partners, a source of inspiration for projects and also a place where, after a hard day, people can relax”, added Karol Zuradzki, Regional Director of Starbucks Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia.
The new Starbucks coffee shop in Tower 1 will have an area of 200 square meters and its opening is scheduled for the last trimester of this year. The first office building in Globalworth Campus will also be hosting a Stradale restaurant, created by Chef Foa alongside the Flavours team, bringing on the market a new concept, urban jungle, on an area of over 600 sqm.
Tower 1, situated on Dimitrie Pompeiu Boulevard, was finalized in July 2017 and has an area of 29,000 sqm, leased to Amazon, Mindspace and Honeywell. The project’s second office building, Tower 2, was delivered in April 2018, offering another 28,000 sqm. Stefanini Romania, Mazars Romania, Chain IQ and P4Cards are the tenants who will be working in this here.
The third building in Globalworth Campus, Tower 3, is now in construction and will have a total leasable area of approximately 35,000 sqm. The entire office complex has 760 parking spaces and, by the end of the next year, the project will integrate one of the largest conference centres in Bucharest, which will be developed according to the highest standards on the market. Globalworth Campus is in the process of receiving a BREEAM certificate.
