In the first half of 2020, Globalworth leased nearly 50,000 sqm space in their buildings in Poland. In the last 3 months, during the very difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the asset management & leasing department of the leading office investor in the CEE region has signed contracts for a total area exceeding 28,000 sqm.
Nearly 50,000 sqm of leased space in Globalworth buildings in Poland consists of new contracts, the prolongation of the existing lease contracts and the expansion of the leased spaces. Noteworthy is the very good leasing result in the second quarter of this year (28,500 sqm), which is particularly marked by the coronavirus pandemic.
The companies that have decided to extend cooperation with Globalworth in Poland include, among others: DXC – one of the largest end-to-end IT services companies (prolongation of the lease contract in Renoma in Wroclaw) or Rockwell Automation – a global provider of solutions for the industry (expansion of the leased area in A4 Business Park in Katowice)

The stabilizing situation related to COVID-19 in Poland is prompting more and more tenants to intensify their employees’ returns to the offices. Globalworth – as the responsible landlord and industry treat the health of tenants, partners and community as the highest priority. As a result, all Globalworth buildings in Poland were and still are safe and ready to go back to intense work.
“We observe the increased return of tenants’ employees to our 22 buildings in Poland. We estimate that on average 40 percent employees have already returned to the offices. There are buildings where the occupancy rate is over 70 percent. Many companies need time to adjust the working conditions for their employees inside their spaces. The occupancy rate of office buildings will certainly increase,” adds Artur Apostoł.
In Globalworth buildings, even before the state of the epidemic was announced in Poland, very stringent procedures for cleaning and disinfecting common areas were implemented. All surfaces with intense traffic such as front desks, staircases, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms are daily disinfected after working hours with a strong special product which destroys viruses while being safe for people. These spaces are also cleaned every 4 hours, at least. In addition, in all the lobbies dispensers with alcohol-based disinfectant have been placed along with Plexi covers or safety tape barriers at reception desks, as well as posters and floor stickers with safe distance rules.
