Hampton by Hilton Warsaw City Centre recently welcomed more than 300 international guests to celebrate the grand opening of the 300-room hotel. Drawing on the friendly service culture and colourful design aesthetic for which the Hampton by Hilton brand is known, guests enjoyed live rock music, local cuisine, a spectacular audio-visual performance and “Liliac” – the Wine of Transylvania.
Hampton by Hilton is operated by Hilton Worldwide, and is owned by the Austrian property developer S+B Gruppe AG. To celebrate the hotel, which began welcoming guests in June this year, a large-scale light projection and fireworks extravaganza, visible across the city of Warsaw, illuminated the building’s impressive facade.
Jacek Jasiński, General Manager, Hampton by Hilton Warsaw City Centre, said, “Since opening our doors this summer, the hotel has captured the attention of Warsaw, and our opening reception drew inspiration from the city’s vibrant backdrop.”
Reinhard Schertler, CEO of S+B Gruppe AG, commented: “Because of the challenges of the LEED certification system, it is very demanding for hotels to score highly, but based on our previous sustainability development experience and the great cooperation with Hilton Worldwide, the project team was able to transfer knowledge to this hotel and will achieve a place within the top 10 projects worldwide.”
