HAUSER, an international supplier of refrigeration equipment and technology, has leased new premises in GARBE PARK České Budějovice. HAUSER joins Taconova and Nobo Automotive in the expanding industrial park. GARBE, the developer, is currently securing permits for client-specific modifications to the space. The lease of the nearly 9,000 sqm warehouse was facilitated by CBRE.
Pavel Mrzena, Vice President of Production and Quality at HAUSER, says: “The leased industrial space will serve as a new central warehouse. Finished products will be transported here from the manufacturing plant in Kaplice, approximately 30 kilometres away, and then distributed throughout Europe. The strategic location of the warehouse near the newly constructed highway and the custom-designed spaces were decisive for us.”
“HAUSER is the third tenant for whom our location holds European significance. Their interest confirms that our park meets attractive attributes such as accessibility, technical equipment, and sustainability. We still have building permits available for three additional halls, ready for other interested companies, whether existing or new to this region,” adds Martin Polák, Director of GARBE for Eastern and Central Europe.
GARBE Park is strategically situated near České Budějovice in Boršov nad Vltavou. The park is easily accessible thanks to its location just 2 km from the D3 highway, which runs from Prague through Tábor and České Budějovice to the Czech-Austrian border. Besides road connections to key highways, the proximity to České Budějovice Airport is also an advantage. The project emphasizes sustainability, energy savings, and associated low operating costs. Energy is provided by solar panels, and water resources are fully recyclable.
Jan Hřivnacký, Head of Industrial Property Leasing at CBRE, comments: “HAUSER is among the established companies in the region, and we are very pleased to have represented them in their search for new premises as part of their expansion. GARBE Park České Budějovice is ideal for them for several reasons. The main one is that it is close to their current manufacturing plant and is located in the attractive southern part of České Budějovice with great connectivity to their headquarters in Linz.”
