NordWestZentrum (NWZ), opened in 1968 and was expanded several times, most recently in 2018. It is one of the largest and most frequented shopping centres in Germany. Consumers can find 160 stores, restaurants and services in more than 90,000 sqm of rental space. Anchor tenants are Primark, Media Markt, REWE Center, Decathlon, Zara, P&C West, Müller Drogerie, H&M and C&A. NWZ offers 3,500 car parking spaces and is connected to public transport via its subway station and central bus station.
NordWestZentrum is also home to numerous public services like a swimming pool, an event hall, a basketball hall, the city library, a kindergarten and an adult education centre. The overall property also includes apartments, offices, a hotel, a medical centre and a gas station. With a total area of 360,000 sqm makes NordWestZentrum the focal meeting point for Frankfurt’s North West population and the entire catchment area. In cooperation with Josef Buchmann Immobilien HBB aims to further develop the tenants’ mix and adapt the property to changing market conditions.
In addition to shopping centres, HBB is a specialist for asset classes like office, residential, hotels and senior living. This expertise can and will be utilised for the further development of NordWestZentrum.
