7R appoints Martin Ohly as Head of Germany
7R & Urban Partners announced the transition of Martin Ohly from Logicenters to 7R as the new Head of Germany. He most recently held the position as General Manager & Head of Logistics at Logicenters – Urban Partner’s management & development platform for logistics properties. Martin will lead 7R’s expansion into the German market.
Martin transfers from Logicenters to 7R – an Urban Partners portfolio company owned by the Nordic Strategic Fund V (NSF V) – to build up and lead its expansion and operations in Germany. Martin is an international real estate expert with over 19 years of experience in investments, transactions, capital markets, leasing, and corporate asset management for commercial properties. Before joining Logicenters, Martin worked for top-tier real estate organisations such as Amazon Global Realty, JLL, APLEONA and METRO Properties. He has functioned as both DE and EU department head, senior advisor and subject matter expert on a broad range of real estate projects.
Andrzej Wroński, CEO of 7R, commented: “We are thrilled to appoint Martin to this newly created role. His experience, in-depth knowledge of the German market, as well as the changes and processes shaping it, will be invaluable in delivering 7R’s ambitious plans in Germany. Expansion into a new market is always associated with certain challenges; therefore, having experts on the team who understand local conditions, the expectations of business partners, and are able to meet them is of crucial importance. Martin is undoubtedly such a person.”
Martin will work with expanding 7R in Germany and building a sustainable portfolio of logistics assets through acquisitions of standing assets, speculative & BTS development projects and joint ventures. 7R’s top priority is to create operationally efficient and flexible solutions that work not only when delivering the building to the tenant, but during the entire lifespan of the cooperation.
