
AFI Europe Strengthens its Management Team in Poland
AFI Europe Poland is advancing its long-term development plans and expanding its portfolio of managed properties. Over the past few months, the international investor and developer has been enhancing its management team by hiring experienced managers for key positions within the organization.
The majority investor of Towarowa 22 – a multifunctional project in the centre of Warsaw – plans to launch three new projects by the end of 2024: AFI Home Metro Szwedzka in Warsaw, AFI Home Czyżewskiego in Krakow, and AFI Home Długa in Wrocław. At the beginning of the following year, another Warsaw project – AFI Home Metro Zachód – will also be launched.

Jarosław Szerfenberg has taken the position of Chief Engineer at AFI Europe Poland. He has 25 years of experience in the development of commercial and residential real estate projects, successfully managing multi-million projects. Before joining AFI, he was involved in the construction and modernization of shopping centres within the G-City Europe portfolio. Jarosław is a graduate of Poznań University of Technology and the MBA program at the Warsaw School of Economics.
Grzegorz Jamroziak has joined the AFI Europe Poland team as Head of Commercial Asset Management. He has over 20 years of experience in managing and leasing commercial and residential properties, having held managerial positions in international companies and successfully implementing various commercial, operational, and financial strategies for real estate portfolios. Before joining AFI, he was associated with G-City Europe, where he managed asset portfolios, introduced new investments to the market, and developed ESG strategies.
Jarosław Prawicki has assumed the position of Head of Office Leasing at AFI Europe Poland, responsible for leasing office spaces within the company’s Polish portfolio. He has over 20 years of experience working for both developers (GE Capital Golub, HB Reavis, UBM, Immobel, Karimpol) and commercial real estate advisors (Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE). Before joining AFI, he served as Executive Director at Karimpol Polska. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics in Marketing and Management.
Simultaneously, Joanna Barska has been promoted to Head of Retail Leasing within the organization, having successfully executed significant retail space leasing transactions that provided numerous amenities for the tenant communities of AFI Home buildings in Poland. Joanna has extensive experience in leasing commercial spaces on major retail streets and residential buildings. Before joining AFI, she held managerial positions at CBRE, Liebrecht & Wood, and White Star Real Estate.
AFI Europe Poland is expanding its asset offerings across three segments of the commercial real estate market: professional rental services (PRS), office space, and mixed-use developments. Notable examples include the Towarowa 22 project and AFI Home Metro Szwedzka, which comprises seven buildings in one of the largest multifunctional projects on the right bank of Warsaw.
