Drees & Sommer Names Lead Sales Consultant in Poland

Global consulting company, Drees & Sommer, is strengthening its presence in Poland with the appointment of Michael Konopka as Leading Consultant, Business Development & Regional Sales, Poland.

Michael Konopka joins the leadership team headed by Jörg Wohlfarth, Jan Grymin, and Dimitrios Niros, taking on a key role in expanding strategic client relationships and developing new service offerings for the Polish market. With extensive consulting experience across Germany and the CEE region, and bilingual fluency in German and Polish, Michael is well-positioned to bring the latest innovations from the Drees & Sommer Group to Poland. His focus will be on sustainability, digitalisation, and economic efficiency – to tailor these solutions to the local market, implementing them for clients in Poland, and contributing, together with Drees & Sommer, to the competitiveness of Europe as a business location.

Michael returns to Drees & Sommer after previously serving as a Senior Consultant in Business Transformation and Network Management in Stuttgart from 2021 to 2023. During that time, he led cross-border initiatives and high-level events for senior executives in real estate and industry. Most recently, he was Director at Deininger, an executive search firm, overseeing operations in Poland and the broader CEE region. Earlier in his career, he worked with the Steinbeis Centre of Management and Technology in Germany, focusing on project synergies and human capital development.
