Experienced Industrial Real Estate expert returns to Colliers
Karel Stránský is returning to the industrial team at Colliers Czech Republic. He is an experienced professional who, in recent years, led a Colliers International advisory team serving global industrial clients. Late last month, Karel rejoined the Czech industrial team as a strategic consultant.
Karel Stránský first became part of the Colliers team in 1996. He was instrumental in establishing the company’s industrial real estate division in the Czech Republic, which gradually grew into a market leader under his guidance. By 2009, he had led transactions covering over three million square meters of industrial space and land, representing tenants, investors and developers alike. During the challenging period of the global financial crisis, he played a significant role in helping the Colliers Prague office maintain its financial stability.
In his career at Colliers, he has provided consulting services to leading tenants and major real estate owners. His clients included Prologis, Goodman, CTP, DHL, DSV, Bridgestone, Ideal Automotive, Knorr-Bremse, Kimberly-Clark, Schenker, Syncreon, Johnson Controls, ModusLink, Dura Automotive and VF Europe.
In mid-2011, Karel Stránský joined the newly formed Colliers Corporate Solutions team in London, where he worked with European and global industrial tenants. During the following years, he led complex real estate projects in seventeen countries across Europe, North America and Asia, guiding multinational corporations through the entire lifecycle of their real estate operations.
From 2024 to 2025, he worked with CTP as Group Business Development Director. During this project-based engagement, he drew on his many years of experience in industrial real estate and international business development.
