GARBE Strengthens Senior Management Structure
GARBE Industrial is reshuffling its leadership team. By reorganising, the company is responding to changed market conditions and further honing its focus on customer needs. In the wake of the top-tier reorganisation, Christopher Garbe, in his role as CEO, will focus on the strategic orientation, business development and international activities of GARBE Industrial in future.
Jan Philipp Daun, Managing Director of GARBE Industrial, will take charge of the Development division, effective immediately, in addition to his existing responsibilities for the Investment and Joint Venture units. This will enable him to focus more closely on the company’s new-client business and the expansion of its development pipeline.
Andrea Agrusow, who has been Managing Director of GARBE Industrial for almost three-and-a-half years, will remain in charge of Commercial Management and Real Estate Management as well as of Digital Transformation & IT. In addition, she will head the Portfolio Management business unit. In her expanded role, she will concentrate particularly on stabilising the portfolio business as well as on ensuring an integrated and transparent management of the real estate portfolios.
Jan Dietrich Hempel plans to leave the company by the end of 2026. Until then, he will continue to fully serve in his current executive roles. Having joined the company in 2009, Hempel was appointed to the Management Board of Garbe Logistic AG in 2011 and has served as Managing Director of GARBE Industrial since 2016.
The Development unit is also being restructured: Michael Marcinek will succeed Adrian Zellner, who has been responsible for sales and business development at GARBE Industrial since 2019. Marcinek has acted as Head of Business Development in the Development division of GARBE Industrial since March 2025.
Going forward, Michael Marcinek and Maik Zeranski will jointly head the Development division as members of the Management Board. Zeranski has worked for the Project Development division of GARBE Industrial since 2012. Adrian Zellner will continue to assist the company in an advisory role and handle special assignments.
Christopher Garbe, Managing Partner of GARBE Industrial, elaborated: “The purpose of reorganising our senior management is to position ourselves with a consistent focus on customer needs. Going forward, the teams behind Jan Philipp Daun will be able to concentrate on the business development in the Investment and Project Development division with even more focus and thereby ensure we achieve our growth targets. At the same time, the new set-up will enable Andrea Agrusow to focus on our existing customer relations. Her real estate management and portfolio management teams make sure our customers get homogeneous professional management services and transparent communications from us.”
