Griffin strengthens logistics investment team

Griffin Capital Partners continues to grow its presence in the logistics investments market in Central and Eastern Europe and strengthens its team responsible for the area. New experts, Piotr Słok, Vice President of Investments, and Patrik Tarski, Legal Counsel will support the development of Griffin’s logistics platforms for the Polish and European markets. The company has also announced the promotion of Piotr Podolak who became Associate Investments and will be responsible for the strategic development of Griffin’s logistics investment platforms across Europe.

Piotr Słok is a specialist in private debt investments and private equity. As Vice President of Investments in the investment department at Griffin Capital Partners, he is primarily responsible for the development of the logistics platform. His duties also include the search and development of new investment projects and ongoing contact with investors. Prior to joining Griffin, Piotr worked as an Investment Manager at PZU, where he led numerous transactions in the area of debt financing for the largest international and regional private equity funds. He also participated in private equity investments in the e-commerce logistics sector and strategic projects. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting) and Warsaw University (Master’s degree in Law). Piotr Słok obtained the CFA certificate and holds the Investment Adviser License.

Patrik Tarski is an attorney-at-law specializing in the real estate sector. As a Legal Counsel in the legal team at Griffin Capital Partners, he is responsible for providing legal services for logistics platforms, in particular in the scope of legal support of the commercialization of warehouse and industrial spaces and the construction process. He gained his professional experience in Warsaw-based boutique law firms including DPPA Legal and Komosa Imiełowski. He also worked for the Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction. Patrik Tarski graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. He is also a member of the Warsaw Bar Association.

Piotr Podolak has worked as Analyst Investments in the investment department at Griffin Capital Partners up to this point. As Associate Investments, he will be responsible for the strategic development of the company’s logistics investment platforms in Poland and across Europe.  Piotr specializes in real estate investments, asset management, and capital markets with previous experience in asset management and investment advisory at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and Cushman & Wakefield. Piotr holds an MSc in Finance from Tilburg University, and a BA in Finance & Accounting from Warsaw School of Economics.
