
GTC Appoints Zoltán Martonyi as Interim Board Chair
Zoltán Martonyi has assumed the role of Interim Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GTC. He will serve in this capacity until the General Meeting convenes and elects a new Chairman. The previous Chairman, János Péter Bartha, has stepped down from the Supervisory Board.
Zoltán Martonyi has served as an independent Member of the Supervisory Board of GTC since 10 July 2025. As a senior partner at Martonyi & Partner, he brings extensive expertise in comprehensive legal and transactional advisory. Previously, he held the role of Global Relationship Partner at PwC and management positions at the Hungarian office of Baker & McKenzie, where he led the banking and finance practice. Earlier in his career, he also worked at Linklaters in Budapest and London.
Currently, Zoltán Martonyi also chairs the Supervisory Board of the Theatre and Film Art Foundation and the International Committee of the Hungarian Defence Industry Association. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of KDB Bank Europe Zrt. and sits on the Supervisory Board of the Habsburg Ottó Foundation. He holds an LL.M. degree from Cornell Law School and a law degree from Eötvös Loránd University.
The appointment of an Interim Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GTC is made in accordance with the Company’s Articles of Association.
