Hagag Energy Expands Natural Gas Division

Hagag Energy, the energy investment platform of international investor Hagag Europe, continues to strengthen its local operations and management structure through the appointment of Adrian Romanescu as Distribution Director of the Natural Gas Division.

With over 25 years of experience in the energy sector and a comprehensive understanding of the entire value chain, Adrian Romanescu bring to the table extensive expertise in natural gas distribution, infrastructure development, operational management, and the coordination of large-scale energy projects. His professional background encompasses both executive leadership and technical roles held throughout an accomplished career in the industry.

In his new role, Romanescu will oversee all operations related to natural gas distribution activities, with a particular focus on improving operational efficiency, modernising and digitising distribution networks, strengthening safety and compliance standards, and further developing relationships with the company’s clients and partners. Through these efforts, he will contribute to Hagag Energy’s long-term objective of building an integrated energy platform centred on infrastructure, efficiency, and sustainable growth.

This appointment comes at a time when Hagag Energy is accelerating its presence in the local energy market through investments in natural gas distribution infrastructure and a gradual expansion into complementary segments of the energy sector.

Before joining Hagag Energy, Adrian Romanescu held senior leadership positions within some of the most prominent companies operating in the energy sector, where he coordinated complex initiatives and developed extensive expertise in infrastructure management, distribution network development, and the implementation of strategic projects. Within the company, Adrian will make full use of the experience accumulated throughout his career to support the further consolidation of Hagag’s distribution activities and to implement ambitious projects built around efficiency, stability, operational discipline, and responsibility.
