Karimpol Polska Appoints New Management Board Member
Szymon Zduńczyk has joined the Management Board of Karimpol Poland. The former Executive Director has been promoted to Managing Director and Member of the Management Board of the Group’s Polish subsidiary. Mr Zduńczyk is the first Pole in the company’s history to sit on its Management Board alongside Andreas Prokes and Harald Jeschek.
Szymon Zduńczyk joined Karimpol Polska five years ago and most recently held the role of Executive Director. His responsibilities included project management, site supervision, and technical and ESG aspects of the company’s investment projects. Mr Zduńczyk has extensive experience in cost control, organisation of execution processes, and supervision of subcontractors. His track record includes successfully managing commercial projects with a value of over €100 million.
The new Member of Karimpol’s Management Board comes from Warsaw and lives in Warsaw. As such, he brings not only professionalism and commitment to the company but also strong connections and knowledge of the local community. He was educated in Warsaw, he is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. He has been involved in multiple projects as a technical advisor to government bodies and private investors in road and real estate construction at home and abroad, including ILF, Egis, and AECOM.
Karimpol Group is a property development company that has been building and leasing commercial space in Central and Eastern European countries since 1991, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary. The company’s Polish branch opened in 1997. Karimpol Polska has completed 9 office projects in Warsaw: Stratos, Mistral, Passat, Taifun, Equator I, II, III and IV and the Group’s largest and most prestigious project, the Skyliner office building. The total leasable area of all its investments in Poland is nearly 200,000 sqm.
