Knight Frank appoints new European leadership team
Knight Frank has appointed a new leadership team in Europe to strengthen its growth strategy and structure across the continent.
Anthony Duggan, Knight Frank’s Head of Strategy, has been appointed to a newly created role as Chair of Europe. In this role he will work alongside, and build upon, the work already underway from the property advisor’s European Managing Directors, Mike Bowden and Mark Harvey.
The move further reinforces Knight Frank’s market-leading expertise across its European business, cementing its global reach while sharpening its specialist knowledge in the continental market. With this new structure, Knight Frank is investing further in building a best-in-class real estate offer across the region, creating a senior, client-focused, and strategic leadership team to deliver a strong and sustainable platform for growth in Europe.
The new leadership team began operating in December 2023.
William Beardmore-Gray, Senior Partner and Group Chair at Knight Frank, said: “As a business, we have ambitious expansion goals across Europe and many new and exciting opportunities on the horizon. Having worked closely with Anthony for many years, I do not doubt that in his new role, he will continue to build on our market-leading position alongside Mike and Mark. Their combined expertise will ensure we continue to provide the best service possible for our clients across key markets.”
Anthony Duggan, Chair of Europe, comments: “It is a privilege to be asked to lead Knight Frank’s European business alongside Mark and Mike at what is a time of significant change and opportunity both in the European property market and across the industry as a whole. Thanks to a fantastic team, we have seen remarkable growth in recent years, and I look forward to continuing to build on that platform and delivering sustained growth whilst ensuring we remain best-in-class partners to our clients.”
Anthony Duggan joined Knight Frank in September 2016 and has helped to develop the firm’s strategic agenda across the UK, and the wider global network as well as leading specific Group projects around Knight Frank’s People and ESG agendas. Anthony will remain chair of Knight Frank’s ESG Taskforce, steering the strategic direction of the firm’s Environment, Social and Governance agenda both internally and externally.
