Magsud Rahmanov Named Partner at Cushman & Wakefield

Magsud Rahmanov, Head of Hotel Transactions CEE & SEE at Cushman & Wakefield, has been named Partner. Magsud joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Hospitality team in 2015. His major focus is hotel capital markets advisory across Central, Southern & Eastern Europe. From January 2022, he took on the role of Head of Hotel Transactions for the CEE & SEE capital markets team. Magsud has been involved in the successful completion of transactions totalling a value of around €1 billion.

Despite the significant market challenges during and following the pandemic, Magsud has been instrumental in delivering several successful hotel sales and has also stepped in to help drive the Operator Search service line in the region, securing numerous important instructions and continuing to support the firm’s clients. His team has continued the success this year by closing four capital markets transactions so far (Hotel Sovereign Prague, Hotel Mercure Ostrava, Hotel Pullman Old Town Riga, K+K Bucharest).

Magsud Rahmanov graduated with honours from the University of New York in Prague and Empire State College (Czech Republic & USA). From November 2020, Magsud is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Magsud enjoys spending time with his family; playing billiards, exercising, meditating, reading and watching documentaries.
