Marcus Schulte (54), a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (“pbb”), has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. He will take over this function from Andreas Arndt, who previously held the roles of both Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer. As reported, Andreas Arndt will retire at the end of February 2024 and hand over the position of Chief Executive Officer to Kay Wolf, formerly of Deutsche Bank.
Marcus Schulte has been a member of the Management Board since 2019. He joined pbb as Senior General Manager at the beginning of 2017 from Credit Suisse.
In addition, Dr Pamela Hoerr will join pbb’s Management Board as planned on 17 January 2024. Hoerr came to pbb in April 2023 from the real estate investment manager Real I.S. as a designated member of the Management Board, initially as Senior General Manager. Among other things, she develops investment management under the pbb invest brand.
