Mindspace strengthens its CEE management structure

Michał Kwinta is expanding his responsibilities at Mindspace. In addition to his current role managing the company’s operations in Poland, he will also lead the Romanian market. The appointment strengthens Mindspace’s regional structure in Central and Eastern Europe, covering two key CEE office markets that are at different stages of development in the flexible office space sector.

Michał Kwinta has been with Mindspace since 2017. He was responsible for bringing the brand to the Polish market and launching its first location, Mindspace Koszyki. In the following years, under his leadership, the company expanded its presence in Warsaw, opening Mindspace Skyliner in 2023. Another location is scheduled to open in mid-2027 at Skyliner II.

The expansion of his responsibilities to include Romania comes at a time when both markets are undergoing similar changes in the office sector, although the flex segment is at a different stage of maturity in each market.

In Poland, flexible office space already accounts for more than 3% of the total modern office stock in major cities. Warsaw is the country’s most developed market for this segment, where flex space has become an integral component of corporate real estate strategies, including those of large organizations seeking greater flexibility, the ability to scale their space, and a high standard of service.

In Bucharest, flexible workspace accounted for 2.3% of modern office stock in 2025. The market had more than 50 locations operated by nearly 30 providers, indicating both the growing importance of the segment and its potential for further expansion.

At the same time, both cities are experiencing limited new office supply. In the first quarter of 2026, no new office space was delivered in Bucharest, while vacancy rates in the most sought-after central locations fell to about 3.4-5.0%. Warsaw is also facing highly constrained new office supply in prime locations. In such conditions, flexibility, speed to occupancy, and the ability to adjust the amount of leased space to changing team needs play an increasing role.

The expansion of Kwinta’s responsibilities corresponds to Mindspace’s continued growth in Central and Eastern Europe and strengthens the company’s regional focus to the flexible workspace market.

Michał Kwinta, in addition to overseeing the company’s operations in Poland and Romania, is also responsible for global strategic projects and developing new business opportunities. Before joining Mindspace, he spent 12 years working in the travel and hospitality sectors, including at LOT Polish Airlines, Fly Away Travel and Louvre Hotels Group.
