MLP Group strengthens business growth in Germany and Austria

MLP Group is bolstering its presence in Germany with a strategic appointment. Norbert Philippen, taking on the role of Head of Technical Project Management, will be tasked with overseeing projects across both the German and Austrian markets.

With over 23 years of expertise in project management in the German market, Norbert has honed his skills through various roles, including a recent tenure at OSMAB Holding AG, where his focus was on logistics properties. With a background as a certified architect and engineer, he began his career in the role of a planning architect specialising in project acceptance and execution planning. Throughout his career, spanning more than a decade and a half, he has gained extensive project management experience across diverse asset classes and complex property development ventures.

The addition of Norbert Philippen to our team bolsters our capabilities with a seasoned manager adept at navigating the myriad technical challenges inherent in project implementation,” stressed Martin Birkert, Country Manager Germany MLP Group.

The developer has a portfolio comprising five business and logistics parks in Germany and one business park in Austria. With more projects in the pipeline, the Group plans to strengthen and expand its presence, especially in the regions where it has already established a foothold, i.e. the Ruhr area, Brandenburg and Hessen land. In Austria, the spotlight in 2024 will be on the imminent completion of MLP Business Park Vienna, strategically situated near the heart of the capital city. The handover of the completed space is scheduled for the end of this year.
