New Business Development Director and ESG officer for Apsys

Apsys Polska created a new position of Business Development Director and ESG officer. This is the result of the strategic process carried out in recent months, which resulted in defining the company’s fundamental goal and developing development plans for the coming years. The position was taken by Magdalena Błędek, who has been associated with Apsys since 2020. In recent months, Apsys Polska and Apsys France have gone through a complex multi-stage process aimed at defining and naming a strategic goal that sets the direction for the organization’s development and defines its commitments to cities and people. It defines how Apsys wants to make a positive contribution to the lives of others and the environment and sets a direction for action that goes beyond financial criteria.

“After 25 years of development in the retail market, we decided to redefine the existing Apsys strategy and adapt it to both the changes taking place in the market and our internal transformation. As a consequence, we have designated new areas of operation and implementation of not only attractive but also significant concepts and solutions to improve the quality of urban spaces. The tasks of the business development director are closely related to the challenges defined in this way,” says Benoit Charles, president of Apsys Polska.

Magdalena Błędek will combine the duties of a business development director with the tasks of an ESG officer. Her appointment is an expression of the huge role of sustainable development policy in Apsys. Magda will take over the duties of a process leader related to all aspects of ESG in the company, including the implementation and implementation of the Apsys Group policy, implementation of ESG initiatives and the preparation of the annual sustainability report. Comprehensive activities will cover all three pillars of the ESG policy. In this area, Magdalena Błędek will work closely with members of the company’s internal ESG committee.
