New Head of Portfolio Management CEE at Peakside Capital

Christopher Smith has been promoted to the position of Head of Portfolio Management CEE at Peakside Capital Advisors. His responsibilities will include investment and real estate portfolio management. This is another internal promotion at Peakside, which is expanding its structures due to the dynamic development in Poland.

Christopher Smith, as Head of Portfolio Management CEE, will be responsible for overseeing the regional real estate portfolio managed by Peakside to effectively achieve clients’ long-term investment goals and maximize asset value. He will also continue his current investment management tasks and oversee Peakside’s operations in the SEE region, mainly in Slovenia.

“Chris, in his new role, will be responsible for strategic decisions regarding our portfolio. I am convinced that it will significantly contribute to its further development. We are intensively focused on building and strengthening our business position in the Polish market. Chris’s experience and knowledge are very important to us,” said Roman Skowronski, Managing Director of Peakside Capital Advisors in Poland.

Christopher Smith joined Peakside as an investment analyst, then, as he gained experience, he took on the following positions through internal promotions, until reaching the current status of Head of Portfolio Management CEE. Christopher has 11 years of experience gained in Fortress Investment Group and Peakside Capital Advisors in investment, asset and portfolio management. He graduated from the University of St. Andrews with a master’s degree in business administration and international relations.
