P3 Logistic Parks announces new CEO
P3 Logistic Parks has announced that Simon Carter is taking up the position of CEO. After almost six years as CEO of P3, Frank Pörschke will step down from the role and will support Simon and the wider management team during the transition period.
Tay Lim Hock, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of P3 Logistic Parks, said: “On behalf of the Supervisory Board, I am delighted to welcome Simon Carter as CEO. At the same time, I would like to thank Frank Pörschke for his leadership and contribution to P3’s development over the past six years. During this time, the company has expanded its operations across Europe and strengthened its market position.”
Simon Carter, incoming Chief Executive Officer of P3 Logistic Parks, said: “P3 is a unique company, with an experienced team, a high-quality portfolio of properties in the right markets and a clear long-term strategy. Simon Carter brings extensive experience in real estate, finance and strategy. Before joining P3, he held senior leadership positions at British Land, Logicor and Quintain Estates & Development, including serving as CEO of British Land and CFO of Logicor.
He began his career at Arthur Andersen, where he qualified as a chartered accountant, before joining UBS, where he worked in debt capital markets. He has also served as Chairman of the British Property Federation and as a board member of Real Estate Balance.
