Piotr Aftewicz joins the management team at Walter Herz

Driven by its dynamic business growth, Walter Herz is consistently expanding its management structures. Piotr Aftewicz has joined the company as Managing Director. Piotr is a manager with over twenty years of experience in the IT sector, product management and commercial leadership, specialising in the design and optimisation of business processes in both fast-growing organisations and mature international structures.

 In his new role, Piotr Aftewicz will be responsible for the further development and optimisation of Walter Herz’s organisational structures, as well as for implementing strategic operational changes to support business scalability. His responsibilities will include, among others, developing a new sales strategy, introducing dedicated business lines, and increasing the efficiency of client service and the quality of consulting services in the areas of commercial real estate and investment advisory.

Working closely with the company’s management board, Piotr is focused on implementing personalised operational solutions and building modern processes that support increased organisational efficiency. A key element of these initiatives is the integration of marketing, sales and customer service teams based on proprietary RevOps-type operating models. The implementation of these changes is expected to drive efficiency gains across the company’s entire operational cycle.

Throughout his professional career, Piotr Aftewicz has delivered complex transformation projects for organisations in the financial, industrial, retail and technology sectors. He has held key C-level positions, overseeing sales, marketing, product development, IT and information security. As Chief Commercial Officer at Awareson, he was responsible for the company’s growth strategy and the delivery of revenues amounting to several tens of millions. Previously, as CIO and Chief Product Officer at Billennium, he managed multifunctional teams, led operational transformation initiatives and implemented CRM and BI class systems. He also optimised management processes while working at Sciamus and Sygnity S.A. Piotr Aftewicz is a graduate of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw.
