Rafał Stoparczyk joins ULI Poland Executive Committee
Rafał Stoparczyk, Project Director at Skanska Commercial Development Europe, has joined the ULI Poland Executive Committee. He brings extensive experience in the design and delivery of office, retail, industrial and mixed-use developments. Since 2025, he has also served as Co-Chair of ULI Poland’s Urban Destinations Council.
The Executive Committee helps shape ULI Poland’s strategic direction and supports the organisation’s initiatives. ULI Poland brings together professionals from across the real estate industry, architecture, urban planning and public administration, providing a forum for sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas and fostering collaboration among those involved in shaping the future of cities.
Rafał Stoparczyk is a Project Director at Skanska Commercial Development Europe. His experience spans a wide range of developments, from large-scale retail projects to office and mixed-use complexes. Combining his background in architecture and real estate development with hands-on project management experience, he has worked closely with public authorities at various stages of the development process. His track record includes the Granary Island project in Gdańsk and Generation Park in Warsaw, an office complex featuring Skanska’s first high-rise building in Poland.
Rafał Stoparczyk has also been actively involved in ULI Poland as Co-Chair of the Urban Destinations Council, a role he took on in October 2025. The Council explores how commercial real estate and mixed-use developments contribute to shaping cities, with a particular focus on places that bring together workplaces, retail, services, leisure, culture and entertainment.
“ULI is an excellent forum for bringing people together and encouraging open discussion, even when they have different interests and perspectives. Its annual national conference, Places + Spaces events and Product Councils create valuable opportunities for dialogue across the real estate industry, including between the public and private sectors. Without that dialogue and a better understanding of each other’s perspectives, Polish cities will struggle to realise their full potential. I believe they can become some of the best cities in the world. I want to help make that happen by drawing on my experience as both an architect and a developer, as well as my work with public authorities at different stages of the development process,” says Rafał Stoparczyk, member of the ULI Poland Executive Committee.
Rafał Stoparczyk brings extensive practical experience to the Executive Committee, gained through managing complex real estate developments. His experience covers both the technical and commercial aspects of complex real estate projects, as well as the challenges of integrating new developments into the wider urban environment.
“Rafał’s experience demonstrates the importance of looking at real estate development from different perspectives. He understands both the challenges of designing and delivering projects and the complexities of working with city authorities and other stakeholders. This breadth of expertise is particularly valuable at ULI, where professionals from different disciplines and backgrounds come together. I am delighted that Rafał will now bring his experience and insights to the Executive Committee,” says Anna Szelc, Chair of ULI Poland.
