Realterm strengthens European capital raising capabilities
Realterm, a private equity sponsor focused on investments in real assets for the transportation industry, announced that Ms Nidhya Ramasubbu has joined the firm as Vice President, Capital Markets, Europe.
In her role, Ms Ramasubbu will lead institutional capital raising across Realterm’s full suite of investment funds, co-investments and ventures from both new and existing investors across Europe, with a primary focus on the DACH region.
“Nidhya brings more than a decade of capital raising experience across core, core-plus and value-add strategies at leading global institutions, and her deep relationships with investors and consultants across Europe make her a tremendous addition to our team,” said Peter Lesburg, Managing Director and Global Head of Capital Markets at Realterm. “Her arrival marks an important step in further strengthening our investor coverage in the region.”
Most recently, Ms Ramasubbu served as Executive Director, Business Development at UBS Asset Management in Zurich, where she led institutional fundraising and investor relations for global real estate strategies across the DACH region and wider Europe. Prior to UBS, she was at PGIM Real Estate in London as Vice President, Business Development and at DWS in London as Vice President in the Global Client Group/Alternatives & Real Assets.
Ms Ramasubbu holds a Master of Science in Urbanisation and Development from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in European Social and Political Studies and Italian from University College London.
Realterm’s European footprint has grown significantly since entering the market five years ago, today comprising a pan-European real estate portfolio of over €1.2 billion in assets across the key freight corridors in Europe. Realterm manages both an open-end, core-plus fund and a closed-end, value-add fund series in Europe. In 2025, the firm closed its second pan-European logistics fund at over €470 million in total commitments, materially above the firm’s target.
Realterm has also recently welcomed Ms Danae Daniilidis to lead investor coverage across the Middle East, further strengthening the firm’s EMEA capital raising capabilities.
