Robert Sztemberg has joined ARC Capital Markets as Managing Director of Property Finance. Robert has spent his 25-year career largely working for lenders BerlinHyp and HSH Nordbank with a focus on Poland.
From 1999-to 2012, Robert was a real estate banker at Hamburgische Landesbank / HSH Nordbank based in Hamburg, Warsaw and then Moscow. Between 2012 and 2014, Robert worked for ECE in Warsaw in the retail development sector on major projects in Poznan and Gdansk. From 2015 to 2018, Robert served as the Head of the Representative Office in Warsaw for BerlinHyp, a major German mortgage lender. During his career as a banker, Robert has arranged loans of more than €5 billion on office, retail and logistics properties. He joins ARC Capital Markets after three years at JLL in Warsaw.
Robert earned his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences / HTWG in Konstanz, Germany. He is fluent in English, German and Polish.
