Savills Appoints New Head of ESG & Sustainability Division
Savills announced the appointment of Ilona Otoka as Associate Director of its ESG & Sustainability team. With 15 years of industry experience, Otoka will lead the team responsible for expanding Savills’ advisory services in sustainability, providing strategic and comprehensive ESG solutions to clients.
In her new role, Ilona Otoka will focus on positioning Savills as a recognized expert and leader in sustainability, responsible investment, and eco-friendly real estate. She will actively support the company’s business growth by representing Savills at public forums, conferences, and industry panels on ESG and sustainability topics.
One of Otoka’s key responsibilities will be collaborating with Savills’ major clients and business partners in ESG, including proposing and implementing tailored initiatives that align with clients’ unique needs and business objectives. She and her team will develop customized ESG consulting products, designed to help clients meet regulatory requirements while building long-term business value.

Previously, Ilona Otoka was with Cushman & Wakefield, where she co-developed its ESG advisory business line. In her career, she has appraised properties with individual asset values of up to €210 million and has supported major commercial real estate companies in transforming their assets toward sustainability. She is also a lecturer, panellist, and member of the ESG Advisory Board at the Digital Real Estate Foundation. Her extensive experience and interdisciplinary approach allow her to offer comprehensive advisory services during this transformative period toward sustainability.
