Savills expands investment team in Poland
Aleksandra Mazzini joined as Head of Investment, Poland. Furthermore, Savills has hired Aleksandra Karczewska as Associate Director, Investment. At the same time, Mark Richardson will take on the newly created role of Head of Cross-Border Transactions CEE. All three will be based in the company’s Warsaw office.
Aleksandra Mazzini, Savills new Head of Investment, Poland, has vast experience in capital markets, asset management, and transactions. Most recently, she was Chief Operating Officer at Balmain Group, overseeing a portfolio of over €1 billion across CEE. Previously, she worked at Goldman Sachs in London as well as at Rockspring (now part of Patrizia) and NBGI (now Stage Capital), where she was involved in over €1.4 billion of transactions across Europe. She will lead the Savills Investment platform in Poland and oversee the further growth of the business.
Mark Richardson joined Savills in 2023. He has 25 years of industry experience, including senior roles at Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers International in the Czech Republic, and 12 years at Pradera in London covering CEE markets. During his career, he has advised on transactions exceeding €2 billion across office, retail, and logistics sectors.
As Head of Cross-Border Transactions CEE, he will focus primarily on transaction activity and investor relationships in Poland, alongside a cross-border remit across the region. In this role, he will work closely with Savills investment teams across CEE and the firm’s global cross-border network, led by Rasheed Hassan.
The changes come at a time when capital from Central and Eastern Europe is playing a much bigger role in the market. According to Savills research, its share has more than doubled over the past five years, increasing from below 9% in 2016–2020 to around 19% between 2021 and Q1 2026, with strong growth across all major sectors.
Aleksandra Karczewska, Associate Director, joined from Colliers International and has experience across office, retail, and logistics investment transactions, with a total deal volume exceeding €850 million.
Małgorzata Lińska-Bator, Director, continues to lead Savills industrial investment activity in Poland. She has almost 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, including roles at EY, and a strong background in valuation and project management.
Stuart Jordan, CEO, Savills CEE, says: “We are seeing an increase in capital moving both into and out of the region. Strengthening our CEE cross-border capability, taking that capital into Western Europe and the UK, alongside local leadership in Poland, puts us in a better position to support these market dynamics”.
Kamil Kowa, Managing Director, Savills Poland, adds: “We have built a strong Investment team and an attractive pipeline of projects in Poland. Close collaboration between our teams in Poland and across the region allows us to give clients access to a broader network of investors, capital and expertise, combining international reach with deep local market knowledge”.
