Tyréns Group embarks on ambitions growth plans across Europe
Following the appointment of Åsa Holmberg as CEO last year, Sweden-based design and engineering consultancy Tyréns Group has announced an ambitious growth strategy, which will see it enhance its presence in key markets including Sweden, the UK, Lithuania, Poland, and Estonia.
Tyréns Group, founded in Sweden in 1942, employs over 3,000 people in offices across Sweden, Poland and Lithuania, where it trades as Tyréns, Estonia where it operates as Tari and the UK, with brands AKT II and Hilson Moran. Sweden accounts for 74 percent of its 3.4 billion SEK turnover, Central Europe, 5 percent, and the UK, 22 percent.
Holmberg explains her plans for the group’s future: “Our growth strategy is driven by our aim to unlock potential in urban design and infrastructure through innovation and sustainable solutions. Having joined the group as CEO, I see huge growth potential not just across our key markets but also within the great businesses we have created. Now, while retaining their identities, we want to foster more collaboration and ideas sharing so we harness the expertise and best practices for the benefit of our clients.
“With a shared vision, integration and teamwork group-wide, we know we can do so much more, enhancing our offer, developing new services, delivering market-leading solutions, and driving positive change in our sector. I’m excited about the future.”
Each year, Tyréns Group invests around £2 million across the group in research and development, focusing on AI, digitalisation and climate change, and plans to drive this forward with the input of its specialist consultancies across Europe.
