Urban Partners Strengthens Senior Capital Team
Urban Partners announced that Jennifer Andersson joined the firm as Partner. Andersson will join Urban Partners’ Capital Formation team, focusing on investor relations with a particular emphasis on strengthening the firm’s presence and coverage in North America. Her appointment forms part of the firm’s strategic priority to deepen relationships with global investors and build increasingly strategic partnerships through closer, more sustained engagement.
“Jennifer is an important senior addition to our team, bringing deep experience from global capital markets and a strong understanding of institutional investor priorities. We have known Jennifer for many years and have seen first-hand the quality of her client focus and capital formation expertise. As our investor base grows, being closer to key clients and understanding their requirements in greater depth is an important part of how we continue to develop the platform. I am very pleased that Jennifer has chosen to join Urban Partners, and her knowledge and experience will be highly valuable in this next phase”, said Claus Mathisen, Co-CEO of Urban Partners.
The move reflects Jennifer’s desire to expand her scope within global capital formation and partnership development, aligning with Urban Partners’ ambition to further scale its platform and investor base internationally. Jennifer will remain based in Stockholm and report directly to Co-CEO Claus Mathisen, who oversees Capital Formation.
Andersson joined from Niam, where she spent nearly two decades in several central roles, including Co-Managing Partner for over five years, heading up Investor Relations & Business Development, as well as overseeing central functions.
