Wealthcore strengthens transaction and asset management team
Wealthcore Investment Management is expanding its transaction and asset management team: Jens Zimmermann joins the Munich-based investment manager as Senior Director of Transaction and Asset Management. The 33-year-old real estate expert will be responsible for the acquisition of residential and hospitality properties in Germany and Austria in the mid-double-digit million range.
“We are currently developing several new investment strategies in the core and value-add segment to meet the different risk-return profiles of our investors. Jens Zimmermann will significantly strengthen this area with his expertise,” says Manuel Bugl, Managing Director at Wealthcore Investment Management. Zimmermann’s track record includes European-wide transactions totalling approximately €350 million. In various leadership positions over the past ten years, he has overseen assets under management (AuM) of around €1.5 billion across all asset classes.
Zimmermann’s core competencies include executing complex transactions and the systematic development and implementation of value-enhancement strategies. At Wealthcore, he will primarily develop core and value-added concepts for institutional investors. The integration of ESG criteria into investment strategies is a central component of the investment approach.
Before joining Wealthcore, Zimmermann was Director of Investment Management at DeA Capital Real Estate, where he developed investment strategies for micro-apartments, among other responsibilities. Previously, as Senior Manager and Head of the Frankfurt Branch at Montano Real Estate, he was responsible for establishing and managing the Frankfurt office. At KanAm Grund Group, he served as Senior Asset and Investment Manager for international mandates, and at M&G Real Estate, he oversaw various asset management portfolios as Senior Associate.
