Westbridge appoints new Director of Sustainability
Westbridge Advisory (Westbridge), energy and sustainability consultants for real estate clients in Europe, has appointed Adam Savitz as Director of Sustainability. The London-based decarbonisation expert is now responsible for the further expansion of sustainability consulting in the UK and Europe.
“The conditions for sustainability are changing significantly. Carbon and energy prices are fluctuating, geopolitical tensions are rising, and investors are becoming increasingly sensitive to regulatory uncertainty”, said Yama Mahasher, CEO of Westbridge. “In this environment, our clients need robust sustainability strategies more than ever, rather than declarations of intent.”
Adam Savitz brings more than twenty years of international experience in sustainability consulting, digitalisation, and operational implementation. He has supported investors and businesses across a wide range of industries in developing and implementing sustainable value creation programs. Most recently, Adam co-headed the global Sustainability Practice at Wipro. Before that, at Johnson Controls, he established the Sustainable Infrastructure business in the EMEA and Latin America regions. Other senior management positions have been with the consulting firm Xynteo, where his responsibilities included setting up the business in India, and with PwC in London and New York.
“The experience Westbridge brings in supporting clients to navigate climate risk and the energy transition is extensive. Together with the proven ability to implement cost-effective resiliency measures, it makes the company an obvious partner for organisations looking to accelerate decarbonisation and create value”, said Adam Savitz, Director Sustainability at Westbridge.
