The International Campus Group has appointed Cornelia Kausch as its new COO from 1 February. IC’s management team is therefore complete: Rainer Nonnengässer will act as CEO, Cornelia Kausch as COO and Patrick Hanisch as CFO.
Hospitality expert Cornelia Kausch has over 30 years of national and international experience in the hotel, catering and tourism sectors. She has a degree in hospitality from EHL Lausanne and is the Managing Director of her own consulting firm, CK Hospitality Advisors. Zach Vaughan, Managing Partner at Brookfield and Head of Brookfield’s Real Estate activities in Europe, said: “We welcome Cornelia Kausch International Campus Group and are delighted that the management team is now complete. Kausch has more than 30 years’ experience in hospitality and extensive international knowledge. Together with Rainer Nonnengässer and Patrick Hanisch, the management team will expand and grow International Campus as a developer, operator and investor for student apartments and co-living products in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and CEE.”
Cornelia Kausch, new COO of the International Campus Group, says: “International Campus is a prestigious address for temporary accommodation for young and international target groups. Its ‘The FIZZ’ properties and ‘The FIZZ’ community are already in a good position. I see optimum conditions for further growth at IC. Global trends such as mobility and customisation as well as the demand for new communities are driving developments in the hospitality industry forward dynamically, and this of course includes Europe. We at International Campus will translate these trends into efficient processes and contemporary products.”
The International Campus Group is currently planning, developing or operating around 12,000 apartments in Central and Eastern Europe.
