International Workplace Group, a provider of hybrid working solutions with brands including Spaces and Regus, is opening two state-of-the-art flexible workspaces in Budapest and Miskolc. As the adoption of hybrid working rapidly accelerates across Hungary, the number of enquiries for space in International Workplace Group locations has risen sharply and this new opening helps meet rising demand.
The addition of International Workplace Group’s latest locations in Budapest and Miskolc comes on the heels of the business posting its highest-ever revenue in its 35-year history and achieving rapid network growth, adding 867 new locations throughout 2023.
Situated in the 13th district of Budapest, the new Regus Madarász location is part of a drive by the International Workplace Group to meet the sharply rising demand for top-class flexible working space in the capital. Budapest’s inner district is home to the Váci út office corridor, the popular Margaret Island, and this new Regus workspace – extending the Váci út office corridor outside of the crowded central business district. Opening in early 2025 in the north of the capital, Regus Madarász will offer co-working spaces, private offices, meeting rooms and creative spaces.
Regus Miskolc – in the centre of one of the country’s biggest cities – will provide the working community of north-east Hungary with a high-quality flexible workspace. The new Regus location will be situated in a multifunctional building comprising a hotel, restaurant, residential apartments, office space, shopping mall and entertainment centre. With this new addition to the network also opening in early 2025, IWG will operate from almost every major city across Hungary.
Mark Dixon, CEO & Founder of International Workplace Group PLC, commented: “We are establishing stronger and much-needed footprints in Budapest and Miskolc with these openings. As important business hubs both Budapest and Miskolc are fantastic places for us to boost our expansion plans. The need for high-quality flexible workspaces continues to soar as hybrid working becomes the new normal. We are very pleased to work in partnership with Proform Ingatlanbefektetési Zrt. in Budapest – our third partnership agreement with this company – and Nemzetközi Befektetési Holding Kft. in Miskolc to develop the Regus brand under management agreements that will add a cutting-edge workspace to their building.”
