Iris receives BREEAM new construction at a “very good” rating – EuropaProperty

Iris office building in Warsaw, developed and owned by CPD S.A., a holding company specialized in the management of development projects, in the office and residential segment, has been awarded a “Very Good” rating in BREEAM New Construction certification, which confirms the social, environmental and economic sustainability of the building.

“We are very pleased that Iris received such a high score, which is an evidence of the high standard of the building, its technological and energy-saving solutions. Our aim is to ensure the tenants, that Iris is a well-managed office building and a great place for a business,” said Iwona Makarewicz from CPD S.A.

The BREEAM certification procedure was supported by Savills, who has been managing Iris for over two years now.

“Iris was assessed in nine key categories, which measured the building’s performance against best practice. As the property manager we are proud that Iris scored very good rates in most of categories, including Management, Health and Wellbeing, Energy, Water, Waste, Ecology and Pollution,” said Milena Sikora, Senior Portfolio Manager at Savills, Licensed BREEAM International and BREEAM In-Use Assessor.

Iris is located the modern business district of Mokotów. It is a five-storey building that comprises over 14,300 sqm of flexible office space with an average floor plate of 2,900 sqm. The building offers 108 surface and 125 underground parking spaces for tenants.
