JYSK expands its presence to 50 countries – EuropaProperty

JYSK, Danish furniture and home decor retailer, has expanded its global presence to a total of 50 countries with the opening of a new franchise store in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

“JYSK has a clear ambition to become one of the world’s most widespread chains of stores. Now we are halfway to 100 countries, so we are well on our way. As long as we can continue to provide customers with a good offer with a reasonable profit, we have the opportunity to invest in the business and expand into even more markets, so that is of course what we will do,” commented Lars Larsen, owner and founder of JYSK.

He added that the company’s franchise concept is currently available in over 20 countries.

In 2017, JYSK reached 2,500 stores worldwide, which was marked with a large scale international celebration. Within South East Europe, the Danish furniture giant is currently present in Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Kosovo.
