Leonardo Boutique Krakow Old Town awarded Green Key Eco certificate

The Leonardo Boutique Old Town hotel in Krakow has been awarded for its ecological approach to business and received the Green Key Certificate. The Green Key Certificate is a distinction awarded for nearly forty years by the international organization FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education), which in Poland operates as the Partnership for the Environment Foundation. The aim of its activities is to build ecological and social awareness and to support such practices in the daily functioning of facilities.

“Giving us the Green Key Certificate is a clear confirmation that the direction of our activities in the field of caring for the environment is right. We consciously use water and energy resources, and although the hotel has not been operating for long, we can boast of important initiatives in the field of corporate social responsibility,” says Monika Wacowska-Maciąg, Hotel Manager at Leonardo Boutique Krakow Old Town.

“At Leonardo Hotels, sustainable and pro-ecological activities are part of the global ESG strategy and each of our hotels is obliged to obtain the Green Key certificate. Leonardo Boutique Krakow Old Town has 3 stars and offers 95 rooms, a restaurant, a bar and a patio, as well as three conference rooms, within Krakow’s Old Town, inscribed on the UNESCO heritage list. The hotel is located exactly in the centre of the area between the Wawel Royal Castle, the Main Market Square and Kazimierz – the former Jewish district.
